Would finding out that you are at high risk for suicide be enough to send you over the edge?
I don’t think so.
But with 50-100% detection and 20-40% false positive the accuracy sucks.
It is not important, unless you heath care is dependent on the test or something like gun ownership keyed on such a profile. It that case, yes it is important.
How come if you want to kill yourself they lock you up in a mental ward, but if you want to kill your baby you're cheerfully escorted into the PP clinic?
