There are examples of ‘weakness’ and ‘vulnerability’ all over the world and in all ages of human history.
Weakness (real or perceived) is the ‘welcome mat’ for aggressors.
When Stalin was accused of being unprepared for the Nazi onslaught, he said: ‘Only aggressors are prepared’.
He was right...unfortunately, he was DEAD RIGHT for millions of his countrymen.

Still can't understand how "Osama" Obama could get re-elected after displaying such weakness repeatedly from the get-go, always groveling to enemies and insulting allies. Suspect that voting fraud and cheating - on an unprecedented scale - might have been the decisive factor in the last election.
