They have drones. They are currently being used. Rand wants that use reigned in and put under warrant requirements like all other surveillance tools.
And you have a problem with that...
You seem to have trouble comprehending many things.
I’d rather have trouble comprehending things than be in your shoes where comprehension is apparently impossible.
Then he should be advocating our protection against using any drones at all. As the others are saying, allowing them to be used in any instance, to kill a US citizen, possibly, is not a path to open and it's not my America. The Patriot Act supporters knock yourselves out hiding under the fear more easily of war; people tend to allow their liberties to be given away versus cherishing them. That's what I see. It is a dangerous path to open this as a law enforcement tool. I get law/order and respectful to police officers since I see many sides of that in my own family for many years/generations as well as understanding military veterans. Our liberties have to be protected. Where do we stop at?
Agreed.
That is a flat out lie. Lying is a very bad character trait to develop. People tend not to like liars.
He has made a statement so now he is being ask about it.
You guys have to realize that some do not fully trust Rand like some here bash me for liking/having some faith in Newt and Palin. Not trying to destroy anyone. The drone issue and his views on illegals; allowing them to have a forgiveness to move them each to a legal status has been a huge disappointment for me.
He supports immigration reform aka the immigration bill 9slowed or not) and illegal immigration.
Its not a lie. You people with PDS are nasty.
If someone was holding my family hostage and a small drone could take them out I would be all in favor of using the drone and you would be too. So cut out the hypocrisy and just admit you hate Rand Paul and are going to give him the “Palin treatment”.
He made a statement that conservatives must accept immigration reform. Now, that he was criticized for that statement, he is saying publicly that now we should allow more time to discuss the bill. Why didn't he say that out of the box. Which is it.
please show me where Paul says he is in favor of illegal immigration. Which BTW was you claim (lie).
??
I’ll say it.
So you are happy with the way things are now? Millions of illegals pouring over the border every year to get freebes here in the USA? And he has not come out in favor of the gang of 8 immigration bill. I am betting he votes against it since it is very different then what he outlined as wanting in an immigration bill.
No, it would be wrong to use any drones. No reasoning with you. I don't hate anyone. Get a better answer.
Do a google on “rand paul and immigration bill” and you will find many sources of what he has said regarding the bill.
He sent a letter to the Senate which included the following:
“I respectfully request that the Senate consider the following two conditions as part of the comprehensive immigration reform debate:One, the Senate needs a thorough examination of the facts in Massachusetts to see if legislation is necessary to prevent a similar situation in the future. Two, national security protections must be rolled into comprehensive immigration reform to make sure the federal government does everything it can to prevent immigrants with malicious intent from using our immigration system to gain entry into the United States in order to commit future acts of terror.”
So he supports immigration reform but does not list illegal immigration as one of his reasons for further discussion.
“Immigration reform” is political speak for amnesty whether Paul says it or Rubio does.
I prefer to listen to what he says and writes on the topic rather then buy the media spin on what he says and writes. I DO NOT TRUST THE MEDIA to report fairly on any real conservative. I go to his web site for info, you apparently go to the Hoffington Post.
Using a drone to save a life is wrong? And you call me unreasonable.
There is obviously nothing in the Constitution banning the use of drones. So it's all about how and when they can be used that is in complience with the Constituion. If you can show me where Rand Paul has ever suggested that they be used in an unconstitutional way, I'd be happy to hear it.
That was taken from HIS letter to Senator Harry Reid.
How much spin did he put on his own words?
