With all the family reunification immigration we have these days at least 50% of legal immigrants are ill educated and don’t have much English speaking ability. They are from the 3rd world not Europe
Mexico sends us 400,000 legal immigrants each year most via family reunification where adult immigrants bring in sisters and brothers and elderly parents. The last ones get a free retirement in America with free medical and SS checks and more

She’s exactly correct. If the prospective immigrant cannot contribute IMMEDIATELY then they should not be allowed.
If they are moslem, they should be banned for life. isalm is incompatible with our Constitution.

If immigrants don’t have a criminal record, don’t get Welfare benefits, follow the rules to apply for citizenship and have a useful skillset, I’m all for letting as many immigrants in as we can. But that’s not what any politician is talking about.

I was recently asked to write a recommendation for a Chinese man who had entered the US legally on a student visa, completed a graduate degree in my field, and wanted to become an immigrant. For people in his situation, the default position of the government is to reject the application unless the applicant can prove his entry will benefit the country. The proof includes getting recommendations.
By contrast, when someone sneaks across the border illegally, the government's default position is that they should be allowed to stay unless there is some reason (committed a crime, etc.) for deporting them.
Does any of this make sense?

Sen. Lindsey Graham's response to the Boston Marathon bombers being worthless immigrants who hate America -- one of whom the FBI cleared even after being tipped off by Russia -- was to announce: "The fact that we could not track him has to be fixed." I despise that mealy-mouthed lily-livered fag Graham. South Carolina can you please give us a break?

Teddy Kennedy's 1965 immigration act so dramatically altered the kinds of immigrants America admits that, since 1969, about 85 percent of legal immigrants have come from the Third World. They bring Third World levels of poverty, fertility, illegitimacy and domestic violence with them. The Swimmer is dead and gone but we still have to live with the effects of his actions. Damn his drunken soul to hell.

There should be ZERO immigrants committing crimes. There should be ZERO immigrants accepting government assistance. There should be ZERO immigrants demanding that we speak their language. THAT should be the comprehensive immigration reform right there.

I am a legal immigrant, now citizen, and I agree with Ann here. In the last 11 years we have not taken one cent from the government, and I have personally created more than 200 jobs, and contributed millions to the economy. It is a slap in my face to see those who come here legally and then just want to feed off the hard work that others are doing, encouraged by Obama and his gang, or even worse, want to wage war on the country that welcomed them with open arms.
I am raising my children to be American, and nothing else. We swear allegiance to the USA alone, against all enemies.
Those who refuse to assimilate should be deported and prohibited from ever coming back. If they want the benefits of living in the USA, they must embrace all of the culture and laws, or turn tail back to wherever they came from.
It is an enormous privilege to live here, and our only mission is to make the USA better for future generations.
