Manager: Watertown fireworks not left by bombers

The gutted fireworks shells found in a Watertown clothes-donation bin yesterday — setting off a bomb scare and prompting the FBI to take them into evidence — couldn’t have been left there by the Boston Marathon bombing suspects themselves, according to a manager for the charity...

Or someone who was involved in helping build the explosive device that was not captured simply eliminated the evidence. Does not sound like a smart place to dispose of it.

Another option, the original perps could have dropped a bag of firework hulls at a point who collected such clothing. Then when they got enough to make a trip to the clothing collection bin it came with other stuff.

It would be interesting to know where the other stuff in the collection bin came from.
