Why we didn’t dismantle the UN already is beyond me. Should have been obvious that anything that imitated the League of Nations would turn into a monster.

Yeah, in Korea they used to fire a volley of Willie-Pete and when the Norks were jumping up and down writhing in pain, they would follow up with anti-personnel rounds. Saves a lot of ammunition, good stuff, really. A small investment in WP can really enhance the effectiveness of antipersonnel rounds. No wonder the Palies hate it.

Napalm is very different. WP is small particles that diffuse widely. While rarely fatal, a WP wound is very painful and can be used to flush out troops behind cover or well concealed, when delivered by indirect fire. Once they are flushed out, they are easy meat for small arms and antipersonnel artillery.
