Eighty-five billion is about three weeks of money the fed’s spend. You meant to tell me that out of a budget of 3,700 billion that eight-five billion could effect our nation on all levels as it has? How moronic do the politicians think we are????

63% of all spending is Entitlements, and they are exempt from Sequestration, including Medicaid, ObamaCare, Food Stamps, etc.

So, 37% of mandatory spending must take 100% of the cuts. For the military, it is 17% of the budget but must take 50% of all spending. Some monies are fenced off from cuts (military pay for example), so that complicates the issue.

I am guessing nurses that work on military hospitals, research scientists, and law enforcement won't be having an infusion of cash from the Senate, unless there is a public outcry like there was for Air Traffic Control.
