I can’t disagree. But. But we have a dated 18th century political system and a democratically elected every 4 years equivalent of King George. Just think, so many countries have achieved independence in the past 50 years, all of the Eastern European countries that have drawn brand new constitutions, many of them with the help of American Constitutional experts. Why is it that none of them adopted our perfect (according to so many here) Constitution and political system? Why?

There is nothing wrong with the US Constitution. We were established as a “self governing” Republic.

Remember, it was written to serve a moral and educated populace. We have neither in sufficient numbers due to all the reasons chronicled on this site every day.

It wouldn’t work in Europe because they are subjects rather than citizens. Always have been.

That’s also why democracy will never work in Africa or Asia.

In my humble opinion, of course.
