I was amazed to learn that the earth’s supply of helium is slowly disappearing into space.

There is still new Helium being discovered all the time...

"Helium is commercially recovered from natural gas deposits, mostly from Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas."

Yes, I read about that process of generating helium from radioactive decay in the same article (several months ago) that discussed the fact that helium is being lost to space. I think what they were saying was that there is not enough new helium being made in quantities that would replace what we are using. Can’t say if that is true, or if it just another environmentalist scare.
