President Obama offered a defiant defense of government funding for Planned Parenthood Friday and urged the group’s members to help his administration sign up more women for benefits under his besieged health-care law.
The first sitting president to address Planned Parenthood, Mr. Obama accused conservative politicians of trying to “roll back the clock” on abortion rights and health-care services for women.
“They’ve been involved in an orchestrated and historic effort to roll back basic rights when it comes to women’s health,” Mr. Obama told the group’s annual convention in Washington. “When politicians try to turn Planned Parenthood into a punching bag, they’re not just talking about you, they’re talking about the millions of women who you serve. And when they talk about cutting off your funding, let’s be clear, they’re talking about telling many of those women, ‘You’re own your own.’ “
The president’s address was delayed for a day. He was initially scheduled to deliver the keynote speech at the group’s gala Thursday night, but postponed it to attend a memorial service in West, Texas, for victims of a deadly fertilizer plant explosion.
“We’ve gone through a pretty tough week and a half, and I was down in Texas letting the people in West, Texas, know that we all love them and care about them in their time of grieving,” Mr. Obama said.
His address to Planned Parenthood came in the midst of a trial in Philadelphia involving an abortionist accused of murder and other charges for performing illegal late-term abortions. While Mr. Obama said in an interview last week he was following the case, he didn’t mention it at the Planned Parenthood meeting.

The main reason for abortion is to prevent men from having to be responsible for children resulting from sex.
The second is to prevent people with differences from living.
99% of pregnant women would have their baby if the baby’s needs until adulthood were provided for by the daddy.
And if doctors walked into the sonogram room where the sobbing couple had just learned their unborn baby has Down syndrome, and told them how precious and loving their child will be, how the world wants him, and given them books or websites where they could read the wonderful lives of many who lived with the syndrome, 99% of them would keep their babies too.
Also what the Santorums did when presented with a more serious, possibly incompatible with life situation in their unborn is the correct answer there. Give your child a loved life, whether it is for 5 minutes after birth, five months, or five years... Let them be loved. To so do blesses them and you and the world.
Obama doesn’t value life. How ironic. I can’t think of a person with an easier excuse for abortion than his mother: 17 and pregnant in 1961 with a black baby. The man is wholly without gratitude. I just wish Stanley Ann had gone ahead with the adoption: this world would be a better place if Barack had grown up “Daniel Smith” with loving, normal parents.
I can’t be warm and fuzzy either when praying for enemies. So I just ask God to give them everything they deserve in His perfect wisdom, justice and mercy. He knows better than I do what they need.
What kind of a vile human being addresses an organization like Planned Parenthood who started to stamp out black people by Margaret Sanger’s own admission? And he’s part black? What kind of a mixed up individual is he? That’s how mixed up this issue has become. Just remember that it is killing of our children for convenience.
