They’ve been looking all over for another drug to administer the death penalty. I wonder why they don’t just overdose these people with cocaine, morphine or heroin, or some combination. It worked for Chris Farley and John Belushi.

Hanging is better. It works, it’s violent but usually quick. The perp has to anticipate that he’s going to have his neck snapped in a quick rush. Sometimes it may not be as quick and you strangle. TS.
The issue is that there is too much mental stress for the executioners. The ideal form of execution would be an On/Off switch in which death was instantaneous and painless, meaning a switch is pressed, and split second later, the perp is out like a light switch, with no convulsions or anything melodramatic.

I think the guy found something quite different then expected on the other side.
It’s not a ‘go to sleep’ routine. Sure his body is dead but he is far from dead as his spirit lives for eternity - forever and ever. He already chose his eternal home. And he has no one to listen to him - all he hears are the screams of others. There is no rest, no sleep, no water in hell.
