I'm guessing the cartoonist is a democrat pervert, but then again I repeat myself. Probably a Kermit Gosnell fan.

Yeah, the same guy who votes for the likes of Moonbeam, Kammala, Feinstein, Boxcar and others taking the formerly great State of California down the toilet

And his job is to be “provocative”? In other words, not about truth or opinion, but divisive and obnoxious, the best way in today’s MSM to sell its fishwrap.

Disgusting, childish idiots. No wonder California sucks now.

Business IS booming in Texas, despite industrial accidents. The fact that this explosion will NOT deter people and businesses from moving to Texas because Texas has LOW regulations! Besides, anyone who builds houses around fertilizer plants is stupid to the boot and does not deserve to blame others.

The MSM will give the cartoonist, the paper and the editor a pass on this obvious cartoon done with hatred and bad taste. If the cartoonist had been a Republican he/she would have been fired when the first Democrat whined about it.

Just dropped the Bee a note! Everyone should do it too! We don’t take it because we have an ample supply of toilet paper.

California liberals have absolutely no respect for human life. DemocRATS are truly THE PARTY OF DEATH. Their exploitation of the Newtown shooting is so hypocritical. They used the deaths of those children for their own political gain. To the liberal ‘RATS, the shooting in Newtown was just another opportunity for them to execute another one of their exploitation schemes. It’s so easy to understand now why the liberals were so happy and excited when that shooting occurred.

The Bee's editorial page editor, Stuart Leavenworth, responded Friday that the artist, Jack Ohman, "made a strong statement about Gov. Rick Perry's disregard for worker safety, and his attempts to market Texas a place where industries can thrive with few regulations." ..... "What he finds offensive is a governor who would gamble with the lives of families by not pushing for the strongest safety regulations. Perry's letter is an attempt to distract people from that message."

It would be remarkable if the left would ever get the facts before politicizing a tragedy. No one knows if stronger law would have prevented this, As I understand at this point it is pretty clear the company was not following Texas and Federal laws regarding reporting chemicals.

So where is the blame for OBama for not enforcing Federal law? The same place Stuart Leavenworth's brain is at. Nowhere.

I would say in general political cartooning has been in a dark age for decades.

Struggling here to understand the humor of the cartoonist.
Is the implication that business is so feeble in California there's little chance of an industrial accident?

WTF?

Someone needs to publish on on CA showing two families with Mexico on their backs holding a little baby with the words EBT, Welfare and citizen ticket on the blanket.

That would be far more true than that Texas cartoon.

Maybe the “cartoonist”, Jack O-hole, would like to explain how lower regulations in the state of Texas was responsible for the plant explosion... especially since the investigation has uncovered no definitive cause. Leftard Kalifornicator scum...

This is a classic re-direction and demonization....TX, NV et. al., are taking job after job away from CA and the liberals there refuse to deal with the reality behind the cause: Progressive government.

Even when CA becomes re-patrioted with Mexico these idiots will be blaming big-business and conservatives for all their woes.

Saving a copy of this cartoon down and posting it again the next time California has a disaster and asks Texas for help. How many of our firefighters rush to California every time they have a wildfire?

I had to work out there for a while...I’d never do it again!
Those commies out there don’t deserve any form of energy or water.
The are sinking in debt. They’ve driven off most industry and many of the actual taxpayers are leaving there in droves.
They can poke fun of TX all they want, but the bottom line is on the balance sheet...and they are in the RED and it’s going to be a whole lot worse for them before it gets better.
