Another sprng like this one and the ice will start forming on top Pike's Peak and start sliding down scaring the dickens out of all the tropical types.
Shame the legislature won't be redistricted until 2021, so no matter what you've got 8 more years of idiocy.

On Wednesday, the Colorado state Senate approved a bill allowing illegals to obtain drivers licenses. If passed, Colorado will be the 5th state to give illegals driving privileges..... In the real world, behavior like this would cost the States federal highway money. This was the threat to force all states to raise the drinking age to 21.

“They also say the law is now duplicative because a federal program checks fingerprints during arrests to check immigration status.”
And it’s working *so* well.
/do I really need a sarc tag here?

If we are not going to enforce the law, repeal it. However, the police or the Feds do not have the right to choose what laws they want to enforce. If they refuse to enforce the law, fire them without benefits immediately. Anybody who refuses to do the job they are paid to do should be fired without hesitation.

The Demolshoviks in Colorado are going full commie. They think they are leading the way for socialism in the United States now that Obama is quacking and laying eggs.

“...the law made immigrants afraid of law enforcement.”
Tough crap. They SHOULD be afraid of law enforcement.
And if they are here illegally, they are NOT immigrants!
Sheesh!

Wow. Colorado is just on, like, fire right now.
They ought to go for gold at this point and nationalize everything in the state and take this socialist dream into the stratosphere.

Numerous CO Sheriffs have said they will refuse to enforce
any new Federal or state gun control laws. I support them.

This pattern of large cities having total domination over the country, the rest of us be damned, has got to be altered.
Colorado is a beautiful, western state, but I take it, now dominated by liberals packed into Denver, and to hell with the rest of the state.

This is exactly why you can’t pass ANY type of legalization. After this wave is legalized the country will be open for all others.

They sure are and a very weak GOP has given them the go ahead. My bet is they next go after repealing TABOR in some form and perhaps right to work laws.
I’d put money on El Paso county putting more liberals in office both locally and at the state level within the next couple of election cycles. I’d looooove to be wrong though. The Republican representatives in El Paso county have gotten lazy, predictable and have taken their constituency for granted.
Colorado GOP has been sent to the wilderness, and it will be interesting to see how long they stay there.

In other words, Colorado is violating federal law by aiding illegal aliens.

Yeah, for sure. It will be interesting to see if the real Coloradans will take their state back in the next election cycle. Sadly, they may be now outnumbered by the kalifornian expats. Too bad.....

This from a state where there’s a “medical” marijuana joint on every other street corner, at least in Denver. Must have a much higher than average glaucoma rate in that town...
