A Mississippi martial arts instructor was charged on Saturday with attempting to use a biological weapon after a ricin-laced letter was sent to President Barack Obama earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
James Everett Dutschke, age 41, was arrested early on Saturday, following searches of his home and a former business as part of the ricin letter investigation.
Dutschke was taken into custody by FBI agents at his Tupelo home shortly after midnight FBI spokeswoman Deborah Madden said in a statement.

Dutschke was arrested in January on a child molestation charge in connection with the alleged assault of a seven-year-old girl at the tae kwon do studio he operates. In March, he was named in a three-count felony indictment accusing him of fondling a victim under the age of 16 (each count carries a maximum 15-year prison term). Dutschke, now free on bond, has previously been convicted of indecent exposure.

So he’s a pervert, and a child molester. Hopefully the court system will send him back to his maker, it will get sorted out.

That’s an old Richard Pryor joke. The character “Mudbone” said it. I think the exact quote is “Tupelo is near one below.”

I'm still going to need a bigger mug and more beer. It is Saturday, after all.

Ricin is a toxin, a chemical agent, not biological.
A biological weapon would be an infectious agent, bacteria or virus. Even a swarm of rats or bees would be biological, but not Ricin.
This indictment is factually wrong. They have to change it.

It could happen to any of us, too. I’m surprised it hasn’t, yet.
