Delaware’s GOP new vice chair is Nellie Jordan....God Bless America!
Nellie asked me to be an alternate for her to the Delaware GOP convention held this past weekend. Before Billy died I was reluctant, mostly because my loyalty to Delaware’s GOP is shakey at best.
Nellie, however, is a friend and a fine woman. She is of the Sussex county Tea Party sort. I worked with her off and on through the years. Sometimes she goes to my church but she’s a parishioner of another church nearby.
There is a fine, fine tradition here in Delaware that when the Sussex countians get uppity and start looking to get elected to both state and party posts....well there’s only one thing to do.
Get one of the elected GOP, someone who’s got the edge on the upstarts that want to mess up our Delaware RINO good thing. WE MUST NEVER FORGET MIKE CASTLE!!!
So they think. As I think.
Heh.
They did this another guy last time ran for Delaware GOP Chair and they got one of the elected Wilmington GOP types, which is Democrat lite, to run against him.
Of course those elected guys, they’re just lending their name to the party to use it to get rid of the upstarts thinking the GOP shouldn’t be Democrat and other silly thought.
Nellie is from Chile by the way, and one of her truly great campaign points was her connection to Delaware’s hispanic community.
And she is a sweet sweet woman, called me often throughout my husband’s loss, even through this Vice Chair thing and her own son just underwent surgery.
Sure enough the nasty GOP get one of Sussex elected guys, this time a girl name Ruth King.
I used to like Ruth King. Due to re-districting she is no longer my Rep but she once was.
Don’t you know King throws her name in the ring to run against Nellie Jordan?
Sweet Nellie Jordan, here she is ready to step up and help lead the party....just the nicest person.
And God knows those elected name-lenders well they’re not busy enough doing what they were elected to do so they want to serve in the state party what hypocrites.
Anyway, I wrote an editorial in the infamous Delawarepolitics.net, for which I write and everybody reads who is anybody.

(OT, but I scanned through some of the comment field on that blog and came away refreshed and relieved. You’ve got just about the same number of liberal troll dumba$$es posting there as I’ve noted on sites out here in the sticks, and they use exactly the same tactics and pet phrases right down to the occasional bursts of Fine Writing to impress the yokels. LOL)
