My mother said, “You listen carefully to what people say. They’ll tell you how they’re going to treat you. They talked about killing and what they were going to do. Nobody believed them. Perhaps it’s time to search the databases for license plate variations of “Jihadist” or “Terrorist.”
Terrorists are not like trained foreign agents. They’re ordinary people who are doing what they perceive as stylish. They want everybody to know that they’re in fashion, that they’re doing the cool thing. They aren’t keeping it secret.
They may laugh and joke when they’re saying it, which leads Americans to believe they don’t mean it. As Shakespeare said, “Many a truth is said in jest.”

If you are saying this in reference to Dzokhar Tsarnaev, it is in COMPLETE AND TOTAL contrast to what many, many very close friends of his have said about him, and besides, he did not own the car with such plates.
