Rubio hit hard after inviting comments on immigration bill (comments at Help Us Improve the Bill)
Washington Examiner ^ | 042813 | Byron York

Senator Marco Rubio, the leading Republican behind the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform proposal, has often challenged those who criticize the bill to come up with ways to improve it. And not just his fellow lawmakers; Rubio has opened a new page on his Senate website asking for help from the public. “Visit our website and submit your ideas to ‘Help Us Improve the Bill,’” says an announcement from Rubio’s office Friday. “Since the immigration legislation was introduced, Rubio has received over 1,100 suggestions for how to improve the bill. Rubio encourages the public to continue reviewing the bill and sharing their ideas on ways to make the bill better when the time comes to amend the legislation.”

Is “Secure the Borders FIRST, and then we’ll talk” on there?

Hey Rubio, have a town hall to hear what Real Americans have to say instead of
lumbering around the Democrat stronghold (90%) of DC thinking they're the real Americans.

Screw you Rubio. /rude

Rubio is serious about sealing the border. He says Homeland Security has 5 years to "come up with a plan", and if they don't, well ...there will be a commission!

supposedly then the border states get to deal with it their way. i see tons of lawsuits against the states to prevent them from doing what they’d like. by then there will be so many illegals in those states the elected officials will be pro-illegals voted in by illegals.

rubio in short believes we are naive idealistic idiots. he can go kiss my ass.

Wonder what the real reason they want to pass this? The Republicans thinking they will get guaranteed voters is pure BS and they know it. The Democrats getting voters is also BS and they know it. It’s to destroy America and it’s people. To have slavery of their choice.

What these guys don’t understand if they bothered to read their history is they will go down with the ship as well as the rest of us including any illegal and illegal immigrants. Those FEMA coffins aren’t just out there for us.

My guess is Rubio will eventually throw his hands up and say we are all just a bunch of “hopeless racists” for not wanting to commit national suicide, then he’ll pull, ironically, a Charlie Crist and switch parties.

He cannot have been hit too hard... my comment is “waiting for the moderator”. I have some issues... lack of enforcement of the current laws, border security, Obamacare paying employers to hire immigrants. Additionally, the Boston bombers clearly demonstrated the nearly 15,000 students who are not at their assigned school or address are a clear and present danger. Union and corporate crony capitalism by rewarding folks who hire anyone but Americans. Our kids are struggling and they want us to pay corporations and unions to take imports.

This is about labor without doubt. This is payback to the businesses that supported Obamacare. Yes your bills will go up but you won’t have to worry about those pesky American citizens asking for a little more in their pocket.

I’ve been saying for weeks he will switch parties. I never fell for the idea he was going to be some kind of savior for the right. Anyone paying attention knew he was sniffing up this path all along.
