You’ll never see such a measure even introduced in Illinois. Illinois has a HUGE illegal immigrant population, well over a million. There are parts of Illinois that are de facto Mexican colonies.

These policies are needed most in border states, where entire counties are parts of Mexico in everything but name. Unfortunately, only Arizona's politicians (hacks like McCain notwithstanding) have had the courage to do anything about it. On immigration enforcement, even conservative Texas may as well be Illinois.

You aren’t kidding. Once a couple years ago, as the biggest example I can think of, there was a big sale at JC Penney in Yorktown and I walk in, start wandering the store and realize that I had not seen another white person in quite awhile. So I started to keep count. By the time I left the store I had counted 3 white people total. Since then, when I’ve taken my grandson to parks, McDonalds play places, etc. we are always in the minority. Sometimes the only caucasian people there. It made me wonder where all the white Americans bring there kids. Seems those kids are being sheltered in their little backyards or something.
