Spent some time and Sig as well, and absolutely agree with your assessment....no reason why we couldn’t have gotten SOMEONE to Benghazi in time. We just didn’t have the will.

The most discouraging thing about this story tho, is that it is on the Blaze. Not that I’ve got any problem at ALL with the Blaze, I love Beck, but that I know at BEST it gets picked up by Fox. It wont get a peep out of the see/hear/speak no evil of Obama media, and thus a majority of the dumb masses wont ever know about it.

Its why I’m of the opinion that Benghazi will go no where, and we wont ever solve this problem by voting. We had proof, positive that the Administration lied about cause of the attack, namely the famous video...it just didn’t matter. The moocher class still supported him, and it will only get worse when and if the immigration bill passes. It will have to be solved by another revolution...which is the part that drives me NUTS about Beck. He gets steps 1-9, about the problem with the media, that the majority of people are either to apathetic or stupid or on the take to care, what the founders intended with the Constitution, etc...but then when asked how we should deal with the problem, instead of looking at those founders and how they dealt with tyranny, he starts talking about Gandhi and MLK.

Which of course is folly, because those men dealt with entirely different situations. Their adversaries belonged to groups that had a common morality that those men appealed to by saying this isn’t right, and shamed them into conceding. In the situation we face, there will be no such shaming, because the majority of the moochers feel they themselves are the disenfranchised victims, who are entitled to what they take for free. You can not reason with these people...we are sooner or later, going to have to separate from them.

I'm a newbie here, coming late to this conversation. I have just read a more detailed account of what took place in Benghazi, and I found this forum in an attempt to resolve the question of why no assets or support of any kind was dispatched to Benghazi on 9/11/12. I find now that (apparently) Glen Doherty and his comrades all but hijacked a private Lear-jet in order to get from Tripoli to Benghazi on that night, and yet the official position of the US Military continues to be that they were unable to lift a finger to protect the handful of American heroes defending the state department staff holed up in the CIA Annex.

How can such extreme and willful malfeasance in office be allowed to stand? (Particularly when it is only one of a long list of acts by our President demonstrating his utter contempt for his oath of office, our laws, and our Constitution.) If this is not outright Treason, does it not qualify as a "High Crime" under our Constitution by our President?

The Declaration of Independence clearly stipulates as to the right of the people to replace a government such as the one we now suffer under...

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

How does one ever "throw off" such a government when the members of the military and various other government agencies, who know the facts and have the evidence of "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors" by the President, refuse to come forward?

I have lived under a total of 11 US Presidents. Never in my lifetime did I imagine American citizens would find ourselves subject to the atrocity of being subject to a President like Barrack Obama. Removing him by force would only serve to lend credence to his otherwise obscene governance. But so far, the only American with the knowledge and hard evidence of this despot's malfeasance -- and the courage to publicly disclose it -- is languishing under the "protection" of Vladimir Putin in the former Soviet Union.

There must be thousands of American citizens in our military and in various agencies of our federal government who know the truth, and have access to the hard evidence of who Barrack Obama really is, and the damage he has already inflicted on this country. What could be worse than allowing this modern-day Bolshevik and dictator wannabe to succeed in destroying this republic?

I mean no disrespect to anyone facing these difficult questions of material obligation to friends and family, versus the abstract obligations of citizenship as an American. But I raise the question in an honest desire to hear what those who do live and work on the "inside" of our government, believe about this.
