An Iranian man screaming “Allahu Akbar!” attacked a rabbi and his son outside a synagogue in Paris with a box-cutter. The father and son were wearing kippahs.
An escapee from a psychiatric institution slashed a rabbi and his son with a box-cutter on Tuesday, prompting witnesses to tackle and subdue the attacker after a chase through a Paris synagogue, officials said.
The rabbi, who is in his late 40s, was recovering from surgery for a neck injury and his 18-year-old son sustained lesser injuries in the attack north of a touristic shopping area near Paris’ gilded Opera Garnier, according to police and judicial officials and Richard Prasquier, who heads CRIF, France’s largest umbrella organization of Jewish groups.
The assailant was of Iranian origin, and an official investigation was underway to determine a possible motive, Prasquier said. The attacker, now in police custody, had escaped from a psychiatric hospital near southeastern Lyon last week, said a police official on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter.
Agnes Thibault-Lecuivre, a spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor’s office, said the two victims had been wearing Jewish skullcaps, and the attacker was detained after a chase through the synagogue.
Anti-Semitic acts in France have risen sharply (antisemitisme.org). In 2012, the SPCJ counted 614 anti-Semitic incidents, which is 58 percent more than in 2011 (389).

Motive is “unclear”?
Belief in Islam and its ascendancy to world domination is a mental disorder, and all the Islamic militant jihadists are bat-guano cuffing CRAZY.
Only by killing off the adherents of any religion other than Islam can the True Believers achieve what they consider to be “peace”, defined as total abatement of any resistance. Even if somehow, they DO finally bring into being the Worldwide Caliphate, a certain number of “kufir” shall have to be slaughtered at regular intervals, just to keep the rest from getting any ideas about raising an insurrection.
The differences between that application of socialism, whether of the Nationalist Socialist or International Communist variety, and of the Islamic Theocracy, are almost minimal in the forms any of these ideologies take. The objectives may vary to some degree, but the end result is the same - the total extinction of the concept of personal freedom and responsibility.
The idea of a just and loving Diety is smothered and driven from the consciousness of entire nations, substituted by a blind fealty to some deformed notion of allegiance created under duress and enforced by merciless violence.
Some folks believe themselves capable of facing any adversity, but they just cannot stand prosperity. And for that reason, they shall forever face adversity.

This is all just a misunderstanding. The “attacker” was indeed Iranian, but he was a recent convert to Mennonism. He didn’t actually attack anyone. He had heard that a nearby city in Pennsylvania was having an extended happy hour and was sharing the good news with the rabbi and his son. He was not shouting praises to allah, but “Allentown’s at the bar!” which witnesses misunderstood to be the common rallying cry of muslim terrorists.
A spokesman from CAIR expressed concern that this “malicious misinterpretation of events” would lead to a backlash against peace-loving jihadis in the United States. “And if that happens to any of my peaceful brethern,” he warned, “we will kill all of you infidel pigs.”
How do you say “workplace violence” in French?
Looks like the nutcases are starting to come into our churches to start trouble. I say the churches should arm themselves and train for these types of scenarios and have contingency plans in place to deal with these threats. Also a takedown and removal procedure of the hate crime perps (hey the door swings both ways; If you’re going to call peaceful law abiding Christians terrorist then we can call crimes committed against a specific group a “hate” crime).
It’s my belief that the Communists / socialista are simply using the Muslims as their muscle to conquer the U.S. Once the takeover is complete they will attempt to unseat the Muslims from power and their true objectives will become apparent. It’s just smart war strategy.
