Colbert Busch Calls Obamacare “Extremely Problematic”
Buzz Feed ^ | April 29, 2013 | Kate Nocera

Elizabeth Colbert Busch seeks to distance herself from national Democrats “It’s cutting into Medicare benefits and it’s having companies lay off their employees because they are worried about the cost of it,” she said at a debate.

Colbert Busch, who is running in a special election against former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford for South Carolina's 1st congressional district, noted while there are some good parts of the health care law, she was troubled by it's cost and the burden it could put on employers.

"Obamacare is extremely problematic, it is expensive, it is a $500 billion cost than we originally anticipated, it's cutting into Medicare benefits and it's having companies lay off their employees because they are worried about the cost of it. That is extremely problematic, it needs an enormous fix," she said during a debate Monday night.

I thought Sanford was done after the latest revelations from his ex. The RNC quit funding his campaign.

And if elected she’ll vote lock step with the Washingtton liberals.

Sanford is done, he’s down 10 in polling and stands no chance, this race was a farce from the start. Busch will cakewalk, unless she would somehow overplay something between now and election day which I doubt.

She’s a rat, it’s only problematic because she wants to be elected. Once in office, she’ll push for more Obamacare.

The morons who vote for her, won’t know the difference anyway.

And if elected she’ll vote lock step with the Washingtton liberals.

In the American Conservative Union rankings, there's a spread of 20 points (on a 100 point scale) between the most liberal Republican and the most conservative Democrat in the Senate. Ultimately, even a liberal GOP'er like Olympia Snowe looks like Joe McCarthy compared to any given Democrat.

Which means, “I will distance myself from it until you fools elect me. Whereupon, I will be Nazi Pelosi’s loyal lap poodle.”

She rammed it down our throats!

***...while there are some good parts of the health care law...***

This smacks of the ‘mend it, don’t end it’ mentality, a la Bill Clinton.

Don’t trust anything short of total repeal.

I’d prefer Sanford to the coward Romney any day! Colbert’s frumpy sister will get <39% of the vote on the 7th.

Me too. My point was that if the GOP can run a guy like Romney, ANYTHING is possible for them.

SO, basically the obozo hussein care law is doing what it was designed to do; just another of many mechanisms this government has forced on us to control the people and aid in the orchestrated collapse of the USA. This current government wants the people to feel immense pain as they condemn us to poverty.

He is done... and his opponent coming out against ObamaCare will probably help her win by 10 points.

Yes, she’s Joe Manchin-ning. “Oh, don’t worry, you Red State rubes. I’m a CONSERVATIVE Democrat!” She’ll still vote for Nancy Pelosi to lead the caucus, though, and for every tax and spending hike possible.

It is the Dems to own and you are a Dem, so you own it!

What I find more problemic is that you are running against Mark Sanford. What happened? Jeeshe SC, you gave us Lindsey and now you nominated Sanford? This is amazing.
