That's a keeper. Ought to be a tagline.
I've always considered democracy to be a polite form of mob rule, and I guess it does have some value in its politeness. But it can sure get out of hand.
Forgive me for being a little dense this morning, but I'm not sure I get your point.
So what Gore is really saying here is that his respect for the law and the Supreme Court was the only thing that prevented a violent revolution following the 2000 election.
Massive egotistical arrogance on his part? Or an admission that rank and file Democrats are violent revolutionaries?
There is indeed a step between those two occurrences, and we’re seeing it come to fruition now -
assertion of 10th amendment rights by the states.
I hated that election.
Chakra man. Ewwww. Almost President.
And we were probably only saved by Ralph Nader and the Green Communist Party!!!
A president should be able to serve 12 years, if he can get elected. Now that would have been an interesting election!
Sickening isn’t it?
LLS
And “I would have been the first to land on the moon but I drank a can of Red Bull”.
I’m sure you meant he is full of bull. I mean look how ginormous he is now.
Well he can run for president in 2016, can’t he? Hahahahaha!
When someone on the Supreme Court says they regret their decision...it means they had no business sitting on the court in the first place.
Al Gore keeps forgetting that....If he had won his own state, he would have won easily.
