Nothing new. When the eco-Nazis held their sustainable development conference in 1994 in Pretoria, they posted private guards with machineguns at dumpsters so the shantytown people wouldn’t raid them for klip, lobster and foie gras tossed away by the lefty pigs.

Two can play at that game.

If Obammie and his DHS goons don’t back off - there will be plenty of “private armies” patrolling and protecting the makers against the takers here in the US.

And “When the music stops”*; I’ll gladly be on the side of the private armies.

That 9,000 strong security force that terrorized parts of Boston for 24 hous WITHOUT catching the terrorist, demonstrates that Obama is well on his way to having a security force that is just as well armed as the military. Except that, unlike the military, it hasn’t got a clue what it’s doing.

There were plenty of lessons learned in Boston. Lessons on how NOT to catch a terrorist. Especially a terrorist we were warned about in advance.

Constrast Boston to Los Angeles. Where cops were on a “shoot first - ask questions later” mission to capture Chris Dorner, and to hell with little hispanic women delivering newspapers.

Sadly... these types of incidents are only going to increase.

I notice the article doesn’t mention the recent loss of 14 South African soldiers in Central African Republic. The government of South Africa hasn’t managed to provide a good explanation of what the 220 South African soldiers were doing in CAR where it appears they were providing personal protection for the now deposed president and the financial interests of members of the ruling South African ANC party.

It looked like President Zuma was about to send more SA troops to CAR to exact vengeance and restore the gravy train but he was stopped by massive outrage at home.

In short one gets the impression from things like their CAR adventure and articles like this that a large part of the country does not trust the police and military for protection, nor those who control them.

SA's military is a shell of what it used to be. In the '80s, they had a first world military when the Afrikaners were in charge.
