That's Enough: Two Schools On The Hiring BLACKLIST
I'm done.
I may never create another business and hire another person due to the insanity of our government and its policy of destroying my incentives to do so (despite having several buildable ideas that I could turn into businesses right now) but I have a very long memory, and it's near-photographic.
This much I promise -- there are two school districts that have, as of this morning, had their diplomas turned into toilet paper. The same applies to any employee of said schools and the entire school board -- if you ever want anything from me, as a customer or as an employee you will be shown the door.
All of them from this day forward, until and unless they make these situations right and do so in public, with apologies.
The first is Polk County, Florida:
The teen is accused of mixing household chemicals in a tiny 8-ounce water bottle, causing the top to pop off, followed by billowing smoke in an small explosion.
Wilmot's friends and classmates said it was "a science project gone bad, that she never meant to hurt anyone."
Even the teen's principal said, "She made a bad choice. Honestly, I don't think she meant to ever hurt anyone. She wanted to see what would happen [when the chemicals mixed] and was shocked by what it did. Her mother is shocked too."
So what did they do?
The school expelled her and charged her with a felony.
This, despite admitting in print that there was no "mens rea" and that is a requirement to charge someone with a crime.
**** you Ron Pritchard; you have participated in a knowing violation of the principles of law that founded this nation and have guided its legal system for over 200 years. A person must have "mens rea" to be guilty of a criminal offense.
Well, that used to be true anyway -- right up until you willingly and knowingly participated in this crap. For this you, your students, and every student in your district who obtains a diploma from this day forward along with every current employee who does not resign today is permanently on my "do not hire, do not do business with, do not sit in church next to" list.
Those who disagree with your jackbooted crap can walk out right here, now and today. If they don't then they're consenting and by consenting they get to pay the price.
The second is in North Carolina:
Eagle Scout Cole Withrow was just a few weeks from graduating with honors from his North Carolina high school, but now the active church member is facing a felony weapons charge and a precarious future after accidentally leaving a shotgun in his pickup truck in the school parking lot.
Most members of the Johnston County community, just southeast of Raleigh believe the 18-year-old is paying far too big a price for an honest mistake. Withrow had been skeet shooting with friends a day before, and only noticed he had left his shotgun in his truck on Monday morning as he reached to grab his book bag, said family friend Kimberly Boykin. When he realized his mistake, rather than leave school grounds, he went to the front office to call his mother for help.
He's 18, which means the weapon is legal for him to possess. When he called his mother to come get the vehicle and rectify the problem he was overheard and that eavesdropping was used as the predicate to confront him. He did not try to hide what had happened and made no attempt to retrieve, access or use the weapon. Note that his locked vehicle is chattel -- that is, an extention of his home. The weapon never left his chattel and entered that of the school and his chattel was and remained locked.
For being honest and doing what he could to immediately rectify the problem he faces a felony charge and expulsion.
Again, **** that. Again, there is no "mens rea" present in this case. Second, the individual in question made no attempt to hide or otherwise lie about what had happened and he sought to avoid committing an intentional offense, that of playing hookey, in order to remove the vehicle from the parking lot.
Further, he was having a private conversation with his mother that was overheard and but for that nobody would have been the wiser. Note that neither party gave consent to that conversation being intercepted and used either.
Johnson County North Carolina Schools' diplomas, employees and staff have just been added to the blacklist as well. If you're a senior and don't want to be part of that then walk out of class now and do not return. Take a stand or not -- your choice -- but if not then you accept your fate. Period. As for the principal, superintendent and others at the school, **** you sideways -- you're blacklisted forever unless you (1) were not involved and (2) resign today.
I'm done with this crap.
"Zero tolerance" is an open and public fraud as it makes a mockery of the foundation on which our justice system rests -- that a person must have a criminal mind in order to be a criminal. This principle is known as "mens rea" in the justice system and it is clearly, by the admission of those who caused these arrests, absent in both cases.
Those who perpetrate injustices, or those who sit by and endorse them by their actions and inactions, are liable for the consequences thereof.
The consequence for this American who has had enough of this crap is simple: I will not hire you, I will not do business with you, I will not sit in a church pew next to you and if I ever see you in trouble and could assist you I will let you die instead and once you're being eaten by worms I will***** on your grave.
My tolerance for this crap has expired.
I call upon all employers and citizens to join me in my permanently blacklist of both Polk County Florida and Johnson County North Carolina school district employees, along with any graduate from either district from this day forward until and unless these injustices are corrected and public apologies issued.
Unfortunately, I graduated from Winter Haven HS (in Polk county) and if I had lived a couple of streets over, would have gone to Bartow (the HS in the article).
Believe me, I understand being fed up with the whole situation. I’m there myself.
‘Bet you no muslims would be suspended or expelled for the same things.
One of my main pursuits is to limit, as much as possible, my TAXABLE income...
We are rapidly becoming Greece in that way at least. It is our heritage.
You should have seen what happened in Chemistry class in high skrewl when I lit a batch of magnesium on fire, outdone only when I clogged a drain in one sink with sodium metal.
Look at Travon Martin. He was found with stolen jewelry and burglary tools in his back pack. The high school police department (the school needs its own police department!) was trying to reduce crime by black students so they had a policy of covering up for the blacks. They accomplished a 60% reduction in crime among its black students with this method.
The jewelry was sent to the city policy department as as ‘found’ jewelry so the police never connected it to the break in that occured at that time a couple of blocks from the high school.
I found a new epithet to throw around “**** you sideways”
Harsh, but appropriate in these cases, I must admit.
Let me add to the list the UMass/Amherst School of Education, grantor of the invaluable bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees in Social Justice and Victims’ Studies.
We have had several teachers and teachers assistants work for us in part-time capacity in our business. The stories they bring in is enough to curl your hair. The agenda-advancing total control being utilized in our schools is unbelievable. Glad I home schooled mine, and am making sure the grandkids go to private schools...
>>when I clogged a drain in one sink with sodium metal.<<
You’re lucky. In my high school, one kid flushed a hunk of sodium down a urinal. The explosion was heard all over the school. He was found, sitting in a stall across the room, with the urinal in his arms. Miraculously, he wasn’t hurt.
I guess it’s true that God takes care of fools and little children.
Yes I was definitely lucky that day. Nowadays I’m amazed at what was available to us in school. In 7th grade we had nitric acid (don’t recall the molar strength) that would eat through the carpet instantly.
As disgusting as these stories are, they are actually pretty rare when considering how many schools there actually are. Nevertheless, we must be diligent in calling out the lunacy when it happens in our neighborhood.
I think it should be personal, but that is just me.
It is interesting that citizens are starting to act like informed jurors in their daily dealings with government employees.
Start you businesses and hire these two kids. That's revenge.
My senior chemistry class I mixed my own elements and made gunpower. I compressed it into a small container and we as a class (including teacher) went out to the back of school and I put it under a 55 gallon drum (trash can) and lit a 5 second fuse. It blew the can about 10 feet in the air and trash and smoke everywhere and we felt the concussion from 100 feet. I think the teacher thought I would not get it right and make a fizzler, she real quickly ushered us back into class.
That same year I got my hands on some butyric acid and loaded a spray bottle and went around spraying some lockers and stairwells. Whew it stunk!
He does not have a full grasp of “mens rea”.
In the first case, the girl who brought the “household products”, toilet cleaner (hydrochloric acid) and aluminum foil, would generate flammable hydrogen gas. HCL is by itself a hazardous chemical, which is printed on its label. Just bringing it to school should be enough for at least some discipline.
In the second case, the boy’s mistake was not in bringing a shotgun to school by accident, but in talking about it in any way. Calling his mother instead of just waiting it out and taking it home at the end of the day was really dumb.
And his doing so is *evidence* of “mens rea”.
If it was in a gun rack in his back window, he could have just taken it down and hid it under the seat.
The bottom line is that it does not matter if it is a lapse of judgment or ill intent.
All that they really accomplished is a 60% reduction reports in the reports of those crimes. The crimes themselves may very well have increased.
BRAVO sir!!! Now if millions of Americans, one at a time where they live, draw the same line there WILL be an end to this insanity. We HAVE the power to change things! Every one defy one! I do it with Muslims on a daily basis-won`t deal with one or even speak to one under ANY circumstances. And I tell the owners of eatablishments why I won`t stand in a checkout line if a Muslim is the cashier . No Muslim doctors or health care workers either. We are being poisoned and killed ONE TINY BITE at a time-and we treat it as a nuisance to be tolerated instead of the fatal attack it is. ENOUGH!
