I remember taking this oath:
“The Boy Scout oath reads: “On my honor I will do my best, To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.”
Hoses last 2 words “morally straight” are the key here. Should BSA abandon that they wouldn’t have any grounds to expect scouts to be scouts.
Just because being amoral has become the currently “politically correct” FAD does not make it acceptable for us to abandon our ethics in bending the amoral demands of others.
