Because they're useful idiots.
"Whats in it for them?"
A rope.
“This is causing quite a stir - making the gun control freaks heads explode.

only 2 minutes - pass it on after viewing. it is going viral ... “
Wow!!! That was powerful! I’m so glad that someone is working to effectively put out the message on why the gun control laws being proposed don’t work. Do you know if these will solely be on the Internet, or will they cross to television, too?
I don't know. A friend of mine sent me the link. It is going viral. I think you can just contact the producer. His link is there.
The Obamedia is worse than Pravda was in the old USSR. It’s time locals in situations like this confront the out-of-state Leftist mouthpieces and get in the face of the cameras so they can’t use the videos on air.
1) More range time and lessons to not close your eyes while firing, and...
2) Use a .45 ACP...shooting twice is just plain silly!
I have a 1911 in .45 ACP and it is my preferred "Welcome Wagon". I also have a .40 S&W and a .380 for concealed carry, but other than at the range, they are loaded with JHPs. I damned sure won't be shutting my eyes if I have to draw down on a dirtbag!
Gun control is not an issue that will help the Democrats win the House. Quite the opposite.
There is a very strange tone to your argument.
Most Americans are opposed to strict new gun control regulations, but pushing these same regulations will assure they’re gaining control of the House.
This is pretty much the same argument that pro-abortion types make. Most Americans favor legalized abortion, but it must be protected as a constitutional right because if it’s left up to the political process every woman who gets an abortion will be prosecuted for murder.
What?
(Sorry that’s probably way out of line, but I get so frustrated. Maybe we are insane: Repeating the same act (calling out media bias) over and over and expecting different results.)
We have been having major impact. That is why we defeated the push against the Second Amendment. The MSM is losing market share, money, and influence. They were able to reelect Oboma mostly because the Obama campaign did a better job with social media than Romney did.
We need to do more in order to save the Republic. There are still many people out there who do not understand that the major enemy of this constituional republic is the MSM.
Do you have a better explanation as to why the Dems cared SO MUCH about what we all agree was useless vote?
Because it was symbolic to them of “doing something,” even if that something was useless.
Also, they are pissed off to find out just how out of sync with the country they are.
“Because it was symbolic to them of doing something, even if that something was useless. Also, they are pissed off to find out just how out of sync with the country they are.”
Sorry, but with due respect things were A LOT different this time.
First, can you EVER recall a vote being this dramatic on an issue that was DOA at the next step - I CANNOT. We used to have votes on welfare reform when Clinton was president - and Welfare reform was much more important than a gun vote. They were close votes, but no one cared, because Clinton said he would veto...and he did (until he had to change his mind to get re-elected).
Second, I don’t think you’re visualizing how this vote could have been used against the Republicans, especially the ones in the Northeast. They had lots of options. One being the president saying “All I asked for was Background Checks to Close the Gun Show Loophole, and the Republicans in the House would not even allow that!!”. Or trotting out the Newtown Girls in tear-jerker commercials, essentially saying the same thing.
Whether we like it or not, the country still likes and trusts Obama, and if goes out there BLASTING the House Republicans, they won’t have a chance. Again, there is a reason why Bloomberg dumped $12M and the entire arm-twisting apparatus of government and media went full-tilt for this - and was for a LOT MORE than just a symbolic victory.
