The Excuse Factory
Wall Street Journal ^ | 5/3/2013 | James Taranto

In her column for tomorrow's Wall Street Journal, Peggy Noonan makes an astute observation about the Obama presidency--one that also presents a puzzle, which this column will endeavor to solve.

The observation is that Obama's presidency was permanently damaged by the way he and his men reacted to "the trash-talking some Republican leaders indulged in after the 2008 campaign."

At first glance, it seems to say Obama and his fellow Clowns were young and stupid. That is true.

Yes, that is what is seems to me. Yet both Taranto and Noonan neglect to remember how many veterans of the Clinton administration and other long time pols that worked/work for the Obama admin.

There was noting naive about what they did. They simply know that crying and whining gets them publicity and support. The media, who oddly seems to be held unaccountable by the two authors, played such a big role in getting Obama elected and keeping his support high, are also complicit in the subterfuge of naivete.

Clearly Obama had a plan. It might not have gone as planned exactly but he's getting everything he wants. Just look at the House and Senate leadership for proof.

It is a cultural and spiritual war. The hard Left is filled with hate. This fact is unchanged from 1789. The mild Left (ex. Zell Miller) have been pushed off stage, and now the hard Left is in full control.

You can make excuses and say "They're young and inexperienced, but I think that really misses the point. These people were taught by Saul Alinksy (dedicated his book to Lucifer) and Bill Ayers (wanted to kill millions of Americans).

Young and inexperienced? Maybe. But that doesn't matter.
Evil and filled with hatred? Yup. That's the essential point.
