Lawyers for Robel Phillipos, the Cambridge native accused of covering up for marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, painted him as a “frightened and confused” teen who didn’t mean to lie to investigators in a bid to convince a judge he should be released with a GPS monitor.
“This case is about a frightened and confused 19-year-old who was subjected to intense questioning and interrogation, without the benefit of counsel, and in the context of one of the worst attacks against the nation,” said Phillipos’ lawyers, Derege B. Demissie and Susan B. Church, in court papers filed yesterday, later adding, “Mr. Phillipos is described as someone who is friendly, mild-mannered, peaceful and respectful of his elders.”

If all the people in flyover country were killed, no liberal response. If all the people who aren’t known personally to them die; no response. If somebody in their family dies, well, maybe...no...no response.

but that didnt stop grown man “Mr” Phillipos from conspiring and murdering the young boy...
He was so respectful that he lied to the FBI not once, not twice, but three times. It wasn't until the 4th session of questioning that he finally came up with some semblance of the truth. Then the judge had to admonish him for not being respectful in court. I'd like to know what he was doing with all his spare time since he dropped out of college in December. His lawyer now says it was only happenstance that he was on campus that day because he was invited to a seminar. Really? Looking at the calendar, there were three seminars scheduled for the 18th - one for bio-chemistry, one for formating a research paper and a law networking. I rather doubt he would be interested in any of them especially since he was no longer a student there. Besides, he was the one who alerted the other two guys about the FBI suspect pictures.
As for libs not caring about deaths in flyover country, look at how West, Texas was being ignored. And is still being ignored.

The bleeding hearts who are deliberately attempting to characterize the jihadists as misguided youths are hoping people will forget the real victims - the innocent little boy and the other murder victims, and the survivors who were grievously maimed for life by these monsters.
Question - So, now there are suspicions of Tamerlan being involved in the murders of Mess, Weissmann and Teken on Sept. 11, 2011. Intersting date there, huh. We are told that he didn’t go to the funeral or anything of his best friend, Mess which everyone thought was strange. Now we know that he went to Russia four months later on Jan. 12, 2012. Then Russia was looking for him after terrorists in Dagestan, including Plotnikov whom he had been in contact with, were killed. He hopped a plane to the US two days later. What if the murders were an initiation to prove himself to Plotnikov?
