I know of which I speak since I worked as an eligibility worker for our counties Department of Human Resources and processed their applications for assistance. I was told when I asked about these rules.....Oh, its not our job to enforce these rules, just process them. And I was talking about legal immigrants.

Kid Im not talking about illegal aliens being processed AFTER they arrive...

and being processed by uneducated pencil pushers..

Im talking about REAL immigrants being processed BEFORE they ever leave their own countries...

at the US Embassy by US officials steeped in immigration law...

Theres a big difference between illegal aliens and frightened $5 clerks who just follow orders legal or not...

and REAL immigrants required to follow the US immigration laws and jumping through every hoop..

The fact that you got to process documents within the US for non-Americans announces these were not immigrants or you were processing immigrants AFTER the fact...

after they had already arrived...

The people at Immigration didnt do much to my paperwoek either...

It was already completed BEFORE I ever came here...

They just rubberstamped documents and reminded me not to work until I received a Green Card ...Alien Registration Card...

The Dept of Human Resources is not Immigration...

Immigrants would not be applying for “assistance”

You broke the law by processing the documents if they were immigrants...

and by not turning them in...

IMHO you are part of the problem...

They were not “eligible” for assistance...

Those immigrats did something worthy of deportaion

and you helped them...

You didnt say you would be fired if you didnt break the law...

and if you had been fired you could have sued them...

and exposed them and blew the whistle...
