During oral arguments on Prop 8, Justice Kennedy alluded to the views of children of same-sex couples as if their desires and concerns are identical to and uncritical of their parents’ decisions. But the reality is far more complicated.
During the oral arguments about Proposition 8, Justice Anthony Kennedy referred to children being raised by same-sex couples. Since I was one of those children—from ages 2-19, I was raised by a lesbian mother with the help of her partner—I was curious to see what he would say.

I agree. It is a good article.
Too many people seem to think that having a child is akin to getting a puppy or a household accessory, like a washer and dryer. That a child is must be acquired to become a “real married couple” and a “family”.
I can’t imagine what it must be for the children of same sex couples in this article, but I can tell you that this problem would only be compounded.
I shudder to think what laws they would implement if all parentless children were some day adopted and no one was willing to provide the "genetic material" needed to complete the process. Would they then demand our sperm/eggs and a womb by force?

I am alarmed, though, by the success of gay propaganda regarding gay adults/children groups. I see them every day, and I promise you they are not families, they are not happy, and the children struggle with their lives. My own kids say, “Well, gay marriages and children don’t hurt anybody.” But they do. And the damage will endure for generations.
I agree. These children should have both genders in their families.
Totally agree wih your comments. We are told by liberals that nobody will get hurt but tell me how it helps kids?!!!
Saddled with LGBT forced down our throats, debt that is unsustainable, lack of moral & ethical values, the biggest being lack of faith in God, the rotten educational system, the welfare mentality of free gifts for my bad choices forever and then inherited by children, free lunches, mind numbing computer games, etc. our children suffer greater unhappiness and lack life’s joy and hope.
Theoretically, take children from single women on welfare and give them to “two parent” families with more political clout.
