IIRC his 64 MB can hold a couple hundred movies.

It depends on the quality, bitrates, frames/sec, codecs, screen viewing size. Rough estimates:

A standard TV quality 41 minute TV show, about 250-400 MB
A standard TV quality movie, about 750-1100 MB
An HD digital widescreen quality 41 minute TV show, about 1 to 1.5 GB.
An HD digital widescreen quality movie, about 1.5 to 3.5 GB
