They can’t claim that. The commerce clause can’t give them power over everything. Then it’s time for RESET. Because this is only a recent liberal interpretation of the clause. You can’t nullify the Second Amendment with The Commerce Clause.

They can do anything they want, because there is no one to stop them. It doesn't matter that they are wrong. I agree that it's time for a reset, and share your outrage, believe me.

But yes, they can and do believe that the Commerce Clause gives them power over everything. We have Supreme Court judges who go to foreign countries and tell people that they shouldn't use the American Constitution as a model.

We have a president who tells college students to disregard the wisdom and words of America's founders.

We had a Speaker of the House who told us that "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it."

Tyranny is the rule of the day, the Constitution no longer has any meaning to those who now hold our highest political offices.

Breaks my heart, but it's true. Our beloved American republic is now a tyrannical kleptocracy.

They can try. However we can also tell them and SCOTUS to shove it.

And that has been done before too.

Gee didn’t the last Civil War spark off because of Kansas too.....

It sure did!

Bleeding Kansas.

The War between Kansas and Missouri was awful.

So many ambushes and massacres.

We have no idea what a Civil War would be like nowadays, but I think it would be just as bloody and messy.

Has Eric Holder ever read the constitution?

Obama and Holder both understand what the Second Amendment means, and also that it was deliberately intended to protect the country from tyrants like them. If they didn't know that, they wouldn't be working so hard to undermine it.
