Um, so why doesn't he marry the woman he's flaunting before his wife, children, and most of a disgusted South Carolina? Are they "sinning no more"--or is Sanford now claiming that God approves of his adultery because Sanford is the one committing it?

So if you're tossing around Scripture, maybe you can read Jude, a short chapter, where Jesus' brother admonishes people to help the sinner without joining in on the sin, or allowing that sin to corrupt others. Looks to me like you're joining in.

My sympathies lie with the betrayed state of SC, and the betrayed wife and family. Not with a whoremonger and his whore.

I like how Free Republic one thought adultery was a bad thing. Now, we are lectured on Free Republic, that adulterers are the real victim, and anyone who says adultery is wrong is the real sinner.
