No, and for these reasons: the media of the time hated Nixon and popular culture placed the blame for Vietnam on him; 0bama, on the other hand, has the nearly universal, and undeserved, praise and protection of the media and the blame for Afghanistan is being placed on Bush.
Put another way, the ruling class and popular culture of the country are fantastically debased and corrupted since 1972, hard as that may have been to imagine at the time. And they grow more debased, corrupt, and disgusting with each passing day.

Great Leader will not leave office over this. Too many people don’t care, too many reporters will ignore it, and too many scape-goats can be found. Even if 100% proof is discovered and shown, how many elected Democrats will break ranks and do the right thing?
