But the terrified girls had no way of knowing if Ariel's brothers aided and abetted the horrendous activities----perhaps providing ropes and chains. And whether Ariel bragged about his sex exploits with the girls to his brothers, as men like to do....which would make the brother co-conspirators in the horredous criminality perpetrated on the girls.

Back in the days after my debriefing from the military, I dated a foxy sexy, sultry and very willing to explore gal who was from Puerto Rico. Things were wild and crazy at first. Then we had our first minor disagreement and from out of nowhere she pulls a knife similar to Crocodile Dundee. Thank God I was able to set her up with someone at a ‘’disco’’ we went to. I blame it on inbreeding. The entire family, even their dog, looked like each other.

What is your point? Where do you see this ethnic solidarity? As far as the two other brothers not being charged, surely the authorities interviewed the women involved.
Even if the girls have not initially implicated the brothers doesn't mean that they never had any involvement. The police can't hold the brothers further without good cause or evidence, which falls now to the crime scene investigators. One would expect that there is going to be DNA of one or more brother at the house, but the defense would counter that it is not unusual for the DNA of one relative to be at the house of another relative. An obvious alibi of a brother would be that even though he was at the house, the victims were either not present or they were silenced in another room. Without a direct implication by any of the victims, or reliable witness reports, prosecuting the brothers is going to be difficult. This is going to take a while to get to trial, and maybe something solid will come up on the involvement of others.
Only a fool or a White Guilt Liberal thinks that there is no ethnic solidarity.....code for racism...in the Hispanic/Puerto Rican community

I say let the brothers go. Why, who could expect those two to know that there were three captive women and 5 kids in that cavernous home. Anyone could spend 10 years there and not notice it.
So just notify the families when and where you are releasing them.(just so you can keep them informed of course) Let all three of em go if you want.
It would be the best outcome.

I think we now know who was responsible for the flag swap on the front porch of that house.
Initial photos of Castro’s house clearly showed a Puerto Rico flag on display. Later the flag is replaced with an American flag.
Certainly with the house being the being the crime scene that it is, no one but police and detectives could have gotten on that porch to change that flag.
