Gov. Chris Christie heaps praise on "extraordinarily helpful" Jim McGreevey

McGreevey is a complete crook who abused the public trust and gave himself a "get out of jail free" card by announcing he was a "gay American," which everybody in the state already knew.

By doing so, he brought a screeching halt to the FBI investigation that had already caught him red-handed taking bribes in return for political favors.

Naturally, their press conference about seeing eye-to-eye concerns an expansion of government-funded programs.

It's like watching Christie giving the editors of the NY Times a neck rub, hoping it will make them feel more frisky towards him.

That doesn't really sound like a wholesale endorsement of McGreevey.

McGreevey is much less harmful to the state in his present job than he was as Governor. So I agree he's been "extraordinarily helpful" by staying away from elected office. I hope he keeps it up.
