I have never watched his show before, but I don’t get it. I heard he’s supposed to play a caricature of a conservative. How can he be saying stuff like this?
How could she win with such a dolt as a brother?

I suppose Stephen Colbert thought his minor fame would somehow give his politically untested sister, Elizabeth Colbert Busch, an edge against former S.C. Governor Mark Sanford, who is an experienced politician and knew how to overcome his 4-year-old adultery scandal in a predominately Republican congressional district. Colbert-Busch ran a weak campaign that reflected her political inexperience. Her brother should go back to what he does best - insulting conservatives - and stop whining about his sister’s inevitable loss. No one cares, Stephen.
LOL yep..it was hilarious seeing the Dems go nuts about Sanford winning..its a Republican district what did they think would happen..such phony outrage coming from the left..meanwhile Weiner will probably have no problem winning his district and he showed off his pecker to the world on twitter
