Six months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, just 25 percent of Americans said Islam is more likely to encourage violence than other religions. That number has climbed to 42 percent, according to a new poll released Tuesday by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center.
The survey, conducted after the Boston bombings, found that opinions have not changed much as a result of those attacks. In March, 40 percent of Americans said Islam is more violent, 42 percent disagreed.

Just plain ideological i.e. leftist ideology. A very large pct. of that 60% know the truth about Islam, but they've been conditioned to hate Christianity. And under the axiom the enemy of my enemy is my friend, they refuse to say the obvious: Islam is the greatest threat to civilization above every other kind of ideology. Of course, another perverse ideology, leftism, keeps the civilized world from combating violent Islam.
Yet at the same time, in the global south, Christianity is GROWING by leaps and bounds.
And we wonder why we have an Islamic socialist for president.
