'Heritage' Flap: Did Al Hunt Just Question IQ Of Non-Asian Immigrants?
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Al Hunt prefaced his remark by describing the issue of ethnicity and IQ as a "swamp". But did he then proceed to wade right into it?

Morning Joe today took up the topic of the flap over a report on immigration produced by the Heritage Foundation. The panel's particular focus was a statement by report co-author Jason Richwine contained in his Harvard dissertation that "the average IQ of immigrants is substantially lower than that of native whites." Rather than rejecting the notion out of hand, Hunt asked "is that true of Asian immigrants? Is that true of all immigrants?" Ruh-roh! Did Al just suggest Richwine might have been on to something regarding the IQ of non-Asian immigrants?

Yeah, it certainly sounds to me like Al Hunt tacitly implied Jason Richwine is correct in his analysis.

Michele Malkin had a great article I thought I’d point anyone towards who might be in doubt of Richwine’s conclusion:

One thing I have not seen in all of the leftist ranting about this is questioning whether the IQ difference comes from self-selection among the population of immigrants. For example, are the Mexicans who are most likely to pick up and move to the US for jobs in landscaping, construction and housekeeping on the low end of the IQs in their home, while the Mexican doctors, lawyers and managers are doing pretty well and not interested in tramping through the desert to get here?

If it’s true, what’s wrong with saying it?

“One thing I have not seen in all of the leftist ranting about this is questioning whether the IQ difference comes from self-selection among the population of immigrants. “

The reason is irrelevant it seems to me. The end result is what matters. BTW, it’s well established that people from different ethnic groups do have different average IQ’s.

Truth will not be tolerated in the New World Order. Particularly when it comes to race differences.

“Celebrate Diversity!” Except sometimes pretend that diversity doesn’t exist if it makes select groups look bad.

Charles Murray’s landmark book The Bell Curve had Askenazi (European) Jews with highest IQ, followed by Japanese. Hispanics and Blacks were lower than European whites. Why is this so “controversial”?

Simply post-birth abort the low IQ, useless eaters.

I guess that means a demographic shift toward the Asian race.

(Do I need a sarc. tag?)

Consider that even after we give their children taxpayer funded public schools education, they still drop out at about 50%.
