I would guess he would have enough sense to not brag while he was getting it, but WOULD brag after it was over.
These teachers are stupid. Do it once, and the student has blackmail material. I would not be surprised if a student secretly set up a video recorder on the first tryst, and told the teacher afterwards "You're going to do what I want, or the video gets sent to every administrator in the school system".

I agree indulgence of pedophilia is a far worse crime. These things come in degrees.

My point was that there are very real differences between a young man “being a man”, in one sense of the phrase, and possibly (or probably) in this case, and in cases where the genders are reversed.
Let's face it. Relationships with teenagers by authorities has been going on forever. In old days, Hester Prynne wore that "A"....today thankfully the predator is blamed.
Younger teachers dating high school students: these people sicken me. At the same time, maybe we should accept human nature and go back to "actions have consequences". Teachers who have sexual relations with students should never be allowed to teach or be in a position of authority with children, for the rest of their lives. Besides that, back in the 1960s part of our teacher education back in the 1960s was about avoiding abusing children and avoiding situations where we could be accused of it.
Sensationalizing it??? I'd think it just nakes a certain element of teenagers more tempted to score with a teacher.
Well, that is interesting. I originally added [Hot Teacher Alert!] to the title, which is what prompted the first comment, and it was removed - that had to be fairly recently.
I knew some people would be annoyed with that, as is their right, but facts are facts regardless of whether or not they approve of them.
Yes, people have strong opinions on these incidents!
