It’s a neurological issue where the brain sees thel etters correctly, but by the time it gets to the figners, they come out wrong- so I’m told- I used to take hte time to go through all my spellign mistakes one by one- but with the amoutn of posts i make and thel imtited tiem I have, I don’t bother anymore- the brain is able ot read words that are wrongly spelled as probven out by a cambridge study, and it reads it as fast as words that are correctly spelled as long as msot of hte letters are there and the right letter is i nthe beginning- our brains are hardwired to simplify, and when it coems across mispelled words, it simply recognizes the letters and automatically puts them aright-
Any way- it’s kinda like dyslexia- only it happens with the figners- the brain actually sees the letters right before typing, but it gets scrambled before it reaches the figners-

You’re absolutely right. That was what should have been the Republicants response. That’s actually another reason I couldn’t watch all of it. They didn’t seem to be calling out the Dims on the stupid crap they were saying. Let’s hope their letting the Dims dig their own grave will work...
BTW, I had no problem reading your post. I used to be a spelling/grammar nazi until I realized everyone has some reason for being imperfect, even me! It was clear your errors weren’t due to ignorance or lazy disrespect, like some others around here... Thanks for the eloquent post explaining your situation. Well, it hasn’t worked for nearly 20 years or more now with previous administratiosn who didn’t fight baqck hoping hte left woudl eventually hang themselves if given enough rope- I’m all for being patient, but there comes a tiem when the only course left is to fight fire with fire- The blaze is out of control- our only hope is to get as angry and forceful as someone liek Judge Jeanine and glen beck and soem others who who are very angry abotu how despicable the left has been htrough htis all (A woman congressperson came on today and really soudned very upset and determiend to dig her heels in and see thsi through till the bitter end in the hopes of throwign the bums out of office- let’s hope she gets her wish
Actually, based on what I heard in the hearings, I think in this case what Cummings is referring to, apart from his ignorance of fundamental English, is to say that Hicks’ story changed because his testimony this week was that he had been instructed not to meet privately with Chaffetz. In prior testimony Hicks had stated that he wasn’t instructed to withhold information from anybody. Genius Cummings evidently can’t distinguish between the concepts of “withholding information” and “private meeting.”
During the hearing, he was trying to leverage this into an accusation of changed testimony, and I guess he’s now running with it.
By the way, I’m not connecting this with the “was punished/wasn’t punished” accusation re the GOP putting words in his mouth. I think that’s a separate bit of nonsense from Cummings. I’m only tying the changed testimony accusation to the Chaffetz issue.

I am also a Glenn Beck fan and I support him. Sometimes the people here that bash him really disturb me. I often wonder what side THEY are on. I usually chalk it up to ignorance.

Although both of the incidents mentioned by you and I happened, you may be correct about what Cummings was referring to. It’s hard to tell with dedicated liars, because they have a tendency to jump to whichever ‘truth’ works best for them at the time.
