I never thought the birth certificate released last year was that big a deal. Sure, it was taken apart but the media provided sufficient cover to keep it from gaining traction outside conservative circles. Most people were willing to believe anything the media told them about “discredited birthers”. I don’t think that could have been the catalyst as you suggest.
When we have to think “this way” about our current regime it’s time to kick them to the curb. One thing is apparent in the whole scheme of things - we have a traitor in office that is only still there because of the color of his skin and because he can shake your hand, look you in the eye, and lie to your face and half are foolish enough to believe him. That and the fact said half are brown skinned as well.

A concise and astute analysis. I fear that the truth is even more nefarious and sinister. What did the administration have to gain? What purpose was there to lie? Deflect? Subterfuge? This is surely treason of the highest order.
I do not believe the forged Birth Certificate had anything to do with it.
Obama had proven on many instances that no challenge to the Birth Certificate would amount to anything. He had lock-tight cover from the Media and the Supreme Court for that.
Perhaps they did mean to take Stephens as a hostage for the Blind Sheik, that part could be true.
What we do know is that those people were sacrificed, Obama slept while Americans were dying he knew it and it did not matter to him one iota. We know that Hillary set the whole thing up, 4 people dead and what does it matter.
They would have had 30 people dead or captured if not for the two Seals. Where are those 30 people? Why aren’t they talking?

I am much more believing of the reports that Panetta (then CIA Director) acted on his own before Barry and Valerie could stop things. The reports were that Barry had to be yanked off the golf course and plumped down in the Situation Room.

I do believe your theory (that many others share) that Stevens was supposed to be taken hostage. A former SEAL flag officer believes this is the case as well.

Don’t know if this was what was going on with The Onw. But, I do believe that the Whit Hose spin has more to do with taking attention away from Obama’s “missing hours” than anything. It’s absolutely unheard of for the POTUS for a whole night and following morning. Has anyone noticed that apparently this subject is absolutely toxic?
