Republicans slam IRS targeting of Tea Party as 'chilling,' a form of intimidation

Washington Republicans on Sunday characterized the IRS targeting Tea Party groups and other conservative political organizations as “chilling” and intimidating acts that heighten Americans' mistrust in government.

Their comments follow the IRS acknowledgment Friday that the agency targeted such groups during the 2012 election cycle to see whether they were violating their tax-exempt status -- a revelation followed by a report that such activity dated back to the previous year......

There's blood in the water - Bengahzi's got them bleeding pretty badly - now may be the time to hit them with this and Fast and Furious (again - this time drive it home).

As formidable as this thug regime is - this may be even more than THEY can handle.

We're getting drained by fighting this regime on the multiple fronts of guns, gay marriage, abortion, taxes, health care, taxes, foriegn policy, more taxes. This may provide us some much-needed relief.

Obama is in dire trouble here.

But what I'm focussed on is the media and the Democratic party, aren't they in trouble too? I think they have to make a choice. Now. Them or him. Whether they like it or not, or know it or not, they've been implicated by association in all the misdeeds.

I think what we are now witnessing is that the media is beginning to report on this, it's self preservation for them. Next? Democrats in Congress. One can wish.

Indeed. At the very least, this renders IRS employees enemy combatants, and due the treatment appropriate for those so identified. All the way up the chain. This is as blatant evidence as we've seen yet that these..these things that have taken over our government have declared war on us, and by further even attempting to be "law abiding", we are parties to our own demise. There is no rule of "law" anymore . Only raw, political force.

I would love to say we can give back as good as we get, but given the Bad People's control of the media and culture, FreeFor is really at a disadvantage here. How much further do we back up?

My trust in the federal government, regardless of the specific party in control, was destroyed long ago. But, this group of thugs has taken it to a whole new level. When you add the preponderance of false flag activities designed only to tighten the noose further. Well, it is hard not to see the war as already lost. Americans have been lulled to sleep such that they completely miss the country being stolen right out from under them. We are in deep kimchi.

We need to try and contact media and explain (and hope SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, gets it and takes it to heart) that a Republican president could do this to THEM.

When you put it in terms of how it affects THEM, most liberals tend to rethink.

Note that I said “most.”
