This is why wealthy conservative patrons need to start buying up the media instead of contributing to political campaigns. The benefit is that if run properly with an eye to keeping costs down, the only contribution involved is a below market return on investment, as opposed to a complete write-off of principal as with ordinary political contributions. The way to do this is via investment consortia. Will they ever wake up?
Buy them, and shut them down. Then, resurrect them with a new staff. If done well, the ROI on a degree from most “journalism” schools would approach zero, and in the meantime, the Left could bleed the Left dry for a change.
