Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is to hold talks on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the conflict in Syria, the Kremlin said, amid concerns Moscow plans to deliver advanced missiles to the Damascus regime.

The weapons would significantly strengthen Syria's defenses...

Russia last week refused to rule out supplying weapons to Syria, saying it has to honor existing contracts.

"Vladimir Putin [said] that the S-300 complexes will be delivered to Syria for sure," wrote the Kommersant daily on Monday, according to AFP.

This is the last straw. With a refusal to stop pouring weapons into the fight against Israel (what other purpose can the S-300 missiles have?), Putin is guaranteeing that Israel will have to fight to remain in existence.

I have read the Book. I know that Israel wins in the end, but there is a lot of bloodshed between here and there.

Pray for the people of Israel. It looks like the Psalm 83 War will begin within a handful of days.

Israel could, possibly, introduce flaws in the weapons while the Russians are building them. It could destroy the weapons in route. It could hit the weapons before they are in place. It could, possibly, sabotage the weapons once they’re installed. All of these are dangerous. Israel must decide how much danger they’re worth.

Another option may be to somehow take away Assad’s money. How is he paying for all this?

Oh, as Putin was supplying Iran with ss-series missiles before, he was slso giving Netanyahu the remote destruct codes for them.

Don’t take everything at face value.

This is Netanyahu brokering his deal with the Russians, just like what he did with Obama recently. It is called playing both sides of the coin. Within five years we will have another scandal of Israelis being kicked out of the country for stealing military secrets. Rushed back to Israel with no legal proceedings. Within 5-10 years after this event, the Russians will unveil a new technology that defeats one of ours. I’ve seen this happen a few times already in my lifetime. Neither government is a friend of ours. Too bad people are blinded by religious lies to see truth.

I’m with you - Israel and Russia are very tight now. I suspect that Russia is giving the Syrians the hardware to keep the US at bay and not to later destroy Syria. I also suspect that Israel is ok with the plan, given the alternative.

The most important part about a contract for providing something is getting paid. Putin wants to be paid. he desperately needs the money.
