CNSNews ^

(CNSNews.com) - The Internal Revenue Service has given no indication to the House Ways and Means Committee about whether it will respond to the committee’s demand, delivered in writing last Friday, that the agency hand over copies of all internal communications containing the words “tea party,” “patriot,” or “conservative” and the names and titles of all IRS officials involved in discriminating against tea party and conservative groups when they submitted applications for tax-exempt status.

From the above link - Stephen Miller - acting head of IRS said TEA PARTY groups were NOT being targeted. That’s NOT his story today... Looks like the IRS has already been caught in one lie...

************************************************************

“I wrote to the IRS three times last year after hearing concerns that conservative groups were being targeted,” Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (Utah), the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, said in a statement Monday. “In response to the first letter I sent with some of my colleagues, Steven Miller, the current Acting IRS Commissioner, responded that these groups weren’t being targeted.”

Give ‘em a couple of days.

THEN defund the agency.
Completely.
Go to a flat tax on Personal income only—leave collection to the GAO.

I wonder what the excuse will be for not complying with the requests. National security? The sequester? Global warming?

If congress does not punish agencies that do not comply with their constitutional oversight obligations then we no longer live in a democratic republic as we will be ruled by unelected bureaucrats. The federal government will grow ever larger until it crushes the citizenry.

Why should they? They have already said that mistakes were made. What difference does it make?

Move along. This is old news. Nothing to see ...

We don’t just want their names. We want their home addresses.

It would only take about 25% to refuse to pay to get the snowball going. Once it starts it’s over. They would sh!t their pants.

while we are typing, the WH is threatening reporters and informants.

In the end the press corps will be “praising our new crab people overlords.”

One thing we now know, Romney was 100% gutless.

it is akin to McCain not understanding why Joe the Plumber reverberated.

It's show time. The IRS doesn't get to decide when they will comply with congressional demands.

Withhold ALL funding to the IRS until they comply and then still withhold all Obamacare funding to the IRS.

will congress seriously withold their ability to collect “revenue”? Remember, most congress critters think it is THEIR money and we only have what they allow us to have. (see citizens as slaves)

All we need to do is to apologize, just like the IRS does when it breaks the law.

The IRS sets the example, and we simply follow their example to the letter.

Those on the inside are now making their move.

The press is powerless.

Congress is powerless.

Reid will protect Obama.
Pelosi supports this as she is a member of the socialist caucus in the house.

Boehner is useless.
