LOL, just this morning some numb-skill was trashing the U. S. for not becoming more involved in Syria. On one side you’ve got the old Soviet Lackies, and on the other you now even have cannibals.
I think we can just sit this one out.
Maybe we should secretly support both sides and let them go all genocide on each other.
Keep them at each other’s throat for a decade or so like Iran and Iraq.

Agreed. We sit it out, and defer to Israel to proceed as it sees fit (and back up Israel behind the scenes with money, weapons, intelligence or whatever else is needed short of our direct military involvement).
