More proof that America’s opinion spewers and our central socialist God-less government (pablum to the uneducated, simple-minded, tattooed, unwashed, pierced voters) are the main enemies of the family, our children and our dying nation.

Time to roll.

I just happened to go to the BSA site and skimmed the 58 page presentation on their proposal to change their position to include gay scouts. My perception of what I did stop and read was an organization short on leadership and more concerned with management (I.e. risk assessment). The reason I was at the site was to learn what is needed to start a troop at our church - I believe I will wait and see how the BSA votes before I go any further. I cannot for the life of me see anyway to propose starting one if they change their policy.

Hmmm...but he took money to facilitate conversations between evangelical leaders and those pushing this immorality within the Scouts. Conversations intended to try to convince said leaders to go along. Didn’t he?

I couldn’t care less what his “position” is. Anybody can say they have a “position.”

Maybe the writer confused Ralph with Rex Reed.

I know what World Magazine is. It’s a solidly evangelical publication whose editor, Marvin Olasky, and longtime publisher, Joel Belz, are both elders in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America). While there are a lot of Freepers who didn’t like George Bush’s views on “compassionate conservatism” or “faith based initiatives,” those ideas were drawn in large measure from Olasky’s interaction with Bush during his time as Texas governor.

What I want to know now is where Ralph Reed stands on the Boy Scout decision. If he’s going to defend what the Boy Scouts just did, he’ll be acting against the stances of the Assemblies of God and Southern Baptist Convention.

I don’t think Reed is foolish enough to try that. We’ll find out soon.
