The leftwing organizations are still striving their rotten hearts out. This is from JCPA:
Please take a moment to thank the “Gang of Eight” - Senators Schumer (D-NY), McCain (R-AZ), Durbin (D-IL), Graham (R-SC), Menendez (D-NJ), Rubio (R-FL), Bennet (D-CO), and Flake (R-AZ) - for reaching a bipartisan compromise on fixing our nations broken immigration system. The recently introduced bill offers a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, modernizes the immigration system, strengthens our economy, protects families, treats American and immigrant workers fairly, and begins to address the broken refugee and asylum systems.
This was surely no easy feat, and the fight is far from over. But, in the meantime, take a moment to say THANK YOU for their role in helping us get to this historic moment and urge them to protect this bill throughout the markup process.
NOTE: If you are not represented by one of these eight senators, you will be prompted to inform your senators that you support the bill.
Take Action
For more information and regular updates on the bill, check out the blog at We Were Strangers Too.
Maybe a certain Sens. Cruz or Paul can be contacted to talk to those “gang of 8” members.
