What really gets to me about this tactic, is that we have had to listen to these spinners telling us he is the most intelligent person to ever be in the WH. Now he is in trouble, and poof!, he is transformed into someone who is in over his head.
Now, I have always thought that he was WAY in over his head; but, now the left seems to be agreeing with me. What happened? Did he have a lobotomy? When did all that wonderfulness and intelligence go away? What was the cause?
He never was that intelligent. He got where he is on affirmative action and knowing how to manipulate "white guilt" among all the right people in order to get ahead.
